  • Superbank, Gold Coast, Australia

Surfers can have their pick of close to 70 kilometers of beach here, along with four amazing breaking points spread out along the coastline. You’ll have the chance to attempt tubes and walls of waves. There are also sufficient accommodations for many people, so you won’t need to worry about whether or not you can stay right next to the beach!

  • Black Beach, San Diego, California

While this surfing location is a definite no for surfing beginners, those more seasoned professionals will find incredible waves here. Black Beach is considered the best surfing spot in the continental United States, especially because the wind doesn’t affect the waves! Surfers flock from all over to experience the waves here.

  • Hossegor, France

Called “the surfing capital of Europe”, Hossegor is home to upscale homes and gorgeous waves. Similar to Hawaii, but without the coral reefs, this Atlantic beach is a great surfing experience. Check out this warmer spot for surfing in Europe for an incredible experience.

  • Pipeline, Oahu, Hawaii

This place is where surfing originated years ago. Surfers from all over the globe congregate here in an effort to ride the perfect crest. This location is the ideal for all surfers, though it’s a challenge to surf here and you need to be quite skilled. But, even if you aren’t a professional surfer, you can still enjoy smaller waves and bob in the water, eyeing the beautiful waves that are around you.

  • Bundoran, County Donegal, Ireland

Bundoran is perfectly situated in the North Atlantic to pick up swells from every single direction. Just make sure to pack a wetsuit and gloves – it gets unbelievably cold! The frigid temperature of the water is certainly worth it, because of the beautiful view you’ll get off the green pastures of Ireland.
